Sarah Emaline Melton, originally from Northern Virginia, currently resides in New Jersey just outside of NYC. She is recently made her Off-Broadway debut in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She played Esmeralda (Understudy) and was a member of the ensemble.

A turn of events made it so for the final week she played the role of Fleur De Lys for the final five performance.  She learned this role in just under 40 hours and had a wonderful time taking on the challenge!

Sarah moved to the city in November 2018 and is thrilled for her upcoming adventure.  In 2019 she became an EMC card holder from The Growing Stage's production of Mr. Popper's Penguins. Then Covid hit a few months later and we all stayed home and waiting to come back to the stage.

During Covid she attend dance classes virtually at Broadway Dance Center. She also added more people to her team of vocal coaches. Vocally she has been training with numerous talented humans including: Carrie St. Louis (Wicked, Kinky Boots), Emily Kristen Morris (Something Rotten), Raquel Suarez Groen (Phantom), Dan Micciche (Wicked, Chicago), and of course the coach who has kept her on her feet since college, Chloe K. Boggs. In 2020 she trained at Stella Adler in their Musical Theater Since Intensive Program.

Prior to moving to the city she worked at Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre for a year and she toured toured through most of the midwest with Madcap Puppets. Sarah has a BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in Art Design which she received from Lees-McRae College. Favorite pastimes include: going to the beach with her dog, walking or hiking with her dog, rollercoasters, waterparks, circus gyms (silks, pole, trapeze), and of course, watching her favorite shows on TV while eating yummy snacks.
